Dr. Cris Calayan Abad Santos is a physician, author, entrepreneur, immigrant, and mother whose life journey spans continents, careers, and personal reinvention.
Born and educated in the Philippines, she came to the United States carrying both a medical calling and the responsibility of building a better future for her family. Her story is one of resilience, faith, motherhood, professional perseverance, and starting over in a new country.
Her memoir, Unbroken: My Journey as a Foreign Medical Graduate in the U.S., was written for foreign medical graduates, immigrant parents, and anyone who has ever had to rebuild a life without losing hope.
